Senior 2D Artist Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing and engaging 2D art assets for mobile games. This includes designing and illustrating characters, developing backgrounds, props, clothing, and other visual elements that bring the game to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and create high-quality 2D characters and environments tailored for mobile gaming platforms
  • Develop a keen eye for detail and style, ensuring consistency across all visual assets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and timely creation of production-ready art
  • Export and assemble final assets from source files, following technical guidelines and file specifications
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies, applying this expertise to deliver innovative and engaging 2D art assets

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in the gaming or animation industry, with a strong focus on mobile game development
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop with advanced 2D character illustration skills
  • Experienced in creating 2D characters, backgrounds, props, clothing, and other visual assets for mobile games
  • Able to follow and contribute to a structured production pipeline, ensuring efficient and technically accurate asset delivery
