Job Title:

Azure OpenShift Deployment Specialist

Job Summary:

This role involves designing, deploying, and managing highly available Red Hat OpenShift clusters on Azure. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in microservice application deployment in OpenShift, performing upgrades, patching, and maintenance of OpenShift environments, and troubleshooting complex issues related to OpenShift and its underlying infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable Azure infrastructure to support OpenShift deployments, including virtual networks, storage, and compute resources.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
  • Manage and optimize Azure networking, security, and monitoring.
  • Integrate OpenShift with various Azure services.
  • Implement security best practices for OpenShift and Azure environments.
  • Evaluate compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
  • Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker/OCI-Images and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes/OpenShift/AKS/EKS/GKS.
  • Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and automation tools.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering, with a focus on OpenShift and Azure.
  • Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
