We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Platform Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and the ability to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud platforms.

The role requires strong expertise in cloud infrastructure management, application deployment at scale, and service-oriented skills. You should thrive in an independent environment and be able to bring your ideas and expertise to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Implement and maintain Azure-based compute offerings based on industry best practices.
  • Resource Management: Manage subscriptions, resource groups, and resources following our architecture standards.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate provisioning and configuration using tools like Bicep.
  • CICD Pipelines: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Application Deployment: Support application deployment patterns including microservices, APIs, and serverless architectures.
  • Containerized Workloads: Enable containerized workloads using AKS, Azure Container Apps, and ACR.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • System Reliability: Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Cost Optimization: Manage cost optimization and resource governance policies in Azure.
  • Azure Security: Integrate Azure security best practices including RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, and network security controls.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Disaster Recovery: Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
  • Collaboration: Partner with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver platform capabilities.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot issues across Azure environments and provide L2/L3 support.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to knowledge sharing, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Cloud Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
  • IaC: Proficiency in Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates.
  • Scripting/Automation: Solid skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • DevOps Tools: Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
  • Monitoring: Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
  • Security: Strong understanding of Azure IAM, Key Vault, Private Endpoints, and networking security.
  • Containers: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (preferably AKS).
  • Collaboration: Ability to work in agile teams, excellent problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • SaaS Security: Knowledge of SaaS security best practices.
Preferred Skills
  • MICROSOFT CERTIFIED: AZURE ADMINISTRATOR ASSOCIATE / SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT EXPERT / DEVOPS ENGINEER EXPERT.
  • Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
  • Exposure to FinOps practices.
  • Background in SaaS-based product environments.
