Senior Solar Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Solar Project Manager to lead the execution of large-scale solar power projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, budgeting, and delivery while ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Strategy:
  • Develop detailed project execution plans aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Create project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and project monitoring mechanisms.
• Project Execution & Monitoring:
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of solar projects from initiation to commissioning.
  • Ensure strict adherence to scope, cost, and timelines.
  • Monitor daily site progress and coordinate with site engineers and contractors.
  • Implement corrective actions in case of deviations or delays.
• Engineering & Technical Oversight:
  • Review and validate engineering designs, layouts, and technical specifications.
  • E nsure compliance with electrical, civil, and mechanical design standards.
  • Provide technical guidance to engineering and site teams.
  • Ensure smooth integration of solar systems with grid / Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Stakeholder & Team Management:
  • Lead project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and performance management.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, government bodies, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communication.
• Quality, Safety & Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards at site.
  • Conduct quality audits and inspections at various stages of the project.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement Industry Standard Operating Procedures (ISOPs) and best practices in project execution.
• Project Closure & Handover:
  • Supervise testing, commissioning, and performance trials.
  • Ensure proper documentation, certifications, and statutory approvals.
  • Prepare detailed project closure reports and lessons-learned documentation.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent field.
• 12+ years of experience in managing large-scale Solar EPC / Utility / Commercial and Industrial projects.
• Proven track record of handling MW-scale solar projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, project execution methodologies, and renewable energy regulations.
• Experience in contract management, procurement, and vendor management.
