About the Role

The Staff AI Engineer will play a pivotal part in crafting and deploying solutions that drive tangible impact.

Key responsibilities include designing scalable, high-performance backend applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and relational databases, building and maintaining APIs and microservices, fine-tuning pre-trained models, and integrating external AI services when necessary.

This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end AI-powered features, contribute to MLOps workflows, adhere to engineering best practices, and stay up-to-date with advancements in AI tooling and infrastructure.

  • A seasoned backend engineer with experience in building robust systems and a passion for applied AI.
  • Proficient in Node.js, TypeScript, and SQL, with a proven track record of delivering production-grade services.
  • Familiar with deploying and integrating ML models into applications, including fine-tuning pre-trained models.
  • A team player with exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive about writing secure, maintainable, and scalable code.
