Contract Compliance Specialist Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled contract compliance specialist with 4-5 years of experience in administration, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing contract reviews, certifications, and regulatory disclosures while ensuring strict adherence to legal and corporate policies.

This role demands exceptional negotiation skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of contractual and compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance Management

  • Establishing and maintaining an internal schedule to verify adherence to contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
  • Overseeing the analysis of data to ensure business controls and data integrity.
  • Reviewing findings and advising management on areas of non-compliance and necessary corrective actions.
  • Coordinating periodic certifications, and other disclosure-based documentation required by contracts and regulatory bodies.
  • Maintaining records, schedules, and working papers for internal and external audit processes.

Regulatory & Certification Oversight

  • Acting as the point of contact for all company certifications and disclosure-based compliance requirements.
  • Managing the preparation of certifications and regulatory disclosures in response to contract obligations and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Maintaining a database of certification and disclosure responses and ensuring timely updates.
  • Coordinating with subject matter experts (SMEs) to validate and confirm certification responses.
  • Escalating complex compliance queries to senior leadership for interpretation and approval.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Pre-law, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

  • 4-5 years in contract administration, compliance, and risk management.
  • Strong experience in contract negotiation, audit processes, and regulatory reporting.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of contract management best practices, legal compliance, and business controls.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in regulatory certifications and disclosure management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and contract management tools.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Strong ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
