Contract Review and Compliance Assistant

As a Contract Review and Compliance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the legal operations of our organization. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your legal skills, gain practical experience, and build a professional network.

Job Description:

  • Assist in reviewing and drafting contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Analyze contract requirements, terms, conditions, and other content to ensure adherence to updated laws and regulations.
  • Conduct research on regulatory updates and revisions to ensure adherence to updated laws and regulations.
  • Support the due diligence process and coordinate compliance screening of third parties.
  • Maintain vendor or customer contract repository and trackers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Academic Performance: Minimum of 65% or 7.5 SGPA and above in each semester. For CGPA, a minimum of 8.0 is required.
  • Core Skills:
  • Strong legal acumen, research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and effective time management.
  • Additional Skills (Preferred):
  • Networking and experience interacting with stakeholders and external service providers (lawyers, company secretaries).
  • Prior experience in contract drafting, review, and redlining will be an advantage.
