Job Description

Develop a video editing application using Flutter for Android and iOS platforms. The application should enable users to import videos, split them into segments, and export the edited video.

The core editing flow should include importing videos via file_picker, timeline thumbnail filmstrip with playhead, splitting at playhead and deleting selected segment, preview playback that skips deleted segments, exporting with FFmpegKit, and handling edge cases gracefully.

Additionally, the application should maintain performance, handle UI freezes, and support differences between Android and iOS platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Production experience in Flutter development (async, ChangeNotifier or Riverpod)
  • Practical understanding of FFmpeg and media pipelines
  • Knowledge of platform-specific details for both Android and iOS (permissions, storage, build/signing basics)
  • Clear communication and documentation skills
