**Job Title: Video Editor**

About this role:

At our organization, we're dedicated to crafting compelling short-form content that resonates with audiences. As a skilled video editor, you'll play a crucial part in shaping our visual identity and storytelling style.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Editing engaging short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and long-form YouTube content
  • Assisting in structuring raw footage, selecting the best takes, and trimming content for pace and flow
  • Adding text overlays, sound design, transitions, and effects to elevate storytelling
  • Collaborating with writers, directors, and social media teams to match video style with our tone and visual identity
  • Optimizing content for each platform's best practices (reel pacing, thumbnail moments, call-to-action placement, etc.)

Requirements:

We're looking for a professional who:

  • Is based in Mumbai and available for full-time, on-site work
  • Has proficiency in key editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects or similar)
  • Has a keen eye for visual storytelling, pace, rhythm, and audio sync
  • Is familiar with trends and optimization techniques for Instagram and YouTube
  • Bonus: Understanding of color grading, sound mixing, and motion graphics
