Backend API Engineer

Role: Backend API Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Backend API Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient backend APIs using Node JS/TypeScript.

Responsibilities:

  • 7+ years of equivalent work experience in project management, business analysis, or system design.
  • Proven hands-on experience as a software engineer with a focus on NodeJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, ExpressJS.
  • Experience in Mocha, CouchDB, Redis, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes in Azure platform is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal customers to understand their needs and translate them into working solutions.
  • Adaptability and ability to build solutions using tools with little previous exposure.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer relationship skills and problem resolution abilities.
  • Experience with large-scale enterprise system development and integration.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Scaled Agile Framework is a plus.
