Job Title: MEP Design Specialist

Description

We are seeking a skilled MEP CAD Technician to support the design and delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health (MEP) services. The ideal candidate will prepare accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models, working closely with engineers, designers, and project teams to ensure coordinated documentation that supports efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models of mechanical, electrical, and public health systems in AutoCAD and/or Revit (BIM).
  • Collaborate with MEP Engineers and Designers to translate design concepts into coordinated drawings.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all drawings, ensuring compliance with project requirements, building regulations, industry standards, and company CAD/BIM protocols.
  • Support project teams in producing tender, construction, and as-built drawings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential) and Revit MEP/BIM (preferred).
  • Experience in preparing MEP drawings and understanding of building services design.
  • Familiarity with British Standards, Building Regulations, and industry codes of practice.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
