About the Role

Lift engineers are essential to the smooth operation of our transportation systems. In this critical role, you will assist in preparing preliminary designs and tenders for lift and escalator projects.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and proof checking detailed designs, assisting with construction supervision, and ensuring quality, health, safety, environment, and social aspects are managed effectively.

  • Review & Proof Checking: Carefully review and proof check detailed designs and construction plans to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Construction Supervision: Assist in supervising construction activities, including monitoring progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Quality Management: Ensure that all aspects of project quality, health, safety, environment, and social responsibility are met and exceeded.
  • Testing & Commissioning: Assist in testing, commissioning, and trial runs to ensure equipment is functioning as expected.
  • Documentation: Prepare comprehensive manuals for construction, administration, operation, and maintenance of metro systems.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a graduate degree in Electrical, Electronics & Communication, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution. A minimum of 12 years' experience is required, with at least 5 years' experience in the construction field of lift and escalator projects for metro or railways.

  • Educational Qualification: Graduate (BE/B.Tech.) in Electrical/Electronics & Communication/Mechanical Engg. from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: Minimum total experience of 12 years, out of which 5 years experience should be in the construction field of Lift & Escalator of Metro/Railways.

You must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences. Problem-solving skills, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, are essential, along with self-motivation, leadership skills, and the ability to influence without authority.
