Job Title: Telecoms and Network Support Specialist

About the Job

As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to our business-critical systems. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure, including Avaya applications, call managers, and other related systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ticket analysis and management to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Break fix activities for configuration-related issues.
  • Non-functional review of new software releases to ensure compatibility with existing systems.
  • Pre-production verification of system configurations before deployment.
  • Production support for all telecoms and network systems.
  • Application patches and updates as required.
  • Liaising with the Avaya team to resolve complex issues.
  • Service maintenance tasks, including reboots, in coordination with the platform team.
  • Certificate renewal for security purposes.
  • User queries and responses to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Configuration and integration of various Avaya application systems.
  • Start and stop services as required.
  • Reports and meetings to keep stakeholders informed.
Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Installation of Avaya applications, including Call Manager/Communication Manager, SM, AES, CMS, Avaya Gateway, SBC, IVR, and phone configuration.
