Cloud Security Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Security Expert to drive the security of our multi-cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience in software and/or cloud platform engineering, with a focus on GCP environment.

  • The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the Shared Responsibility Model and be familiar with the security risks inherent in hosting cloud-based applications and data.
  • They will have experience developing across the security assurance lifecycle (including prevent, detect, respond, and remediate controls) and configuring Public Cloud native security tooling and capabilities with a focus on Google Cloud Organizational policies/constraints, VPC SC, IAM policies and GCP APIs.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) 3rd Party tools such as Wiz, Prisma, Check Point CloudGuard, etc. is required.
  • The candidate should also have experience in Policy-as-code (Rego) and OPA platform.
  • A strong background in event-driven serverless-based security controls in Azure, including but not limited to technologies such as Azure Function, Automation Runbook, AWS Lambda and Google Cloud Functions is desirable.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling, preferably Terraform, and Logging and data pipeline concepts and architectures in cloud is required.
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as PowerShell or Python or Bash or Go are necessary.
  • Knowledge of Agile best practices and methodologies is essential.
  • Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills are required for this role.
