Enterprise Cloud Services Project Lead

As a trusted advisor with a strong customer focus, you will support ECS customer migration into the Private Cloud from a project and program perspective.

The main tasks of the Project Lead include:

  • Project initiation: managing the sales to deliver (S2D) handover quality gate to initiate new tasks
  • Project planning: coordinating with consulting teams and the customer to manage the deliverables and project
  • Execution: communication and coordination with all teams through the build and migration lifecycles
  • Closing: documenting and clearing open issues; project completion

You will work collaboratively with the GCE and Delivery teams internally and external parties such as Hyperscale's and GSSP to serve and delight our customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing overall progress and status of the technical upgrade
  • Ensuring effective communication with and between all team members and stakeholders involved in the technical upgrade project
  • Planning and preparing PROD upgrade including schedule, weekend work and standby, fallback plan, business downtime preparation and alignment with the customer

Requirements for Success Include:

  • 10+ years of experience in project management with ECS/RISE knowledge and brownfield experience
  • Strong technical background in migration and upgrade
  • Orchestration/project management background/customer-facing experience
  • English language skills are essential

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Previous experience as a Project Manager or similar role
  • PL role with ECS already (1 year at least) with brownfield migration exposure
