Purpose of Role

As a senior litigation manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's litigation and dispute resolution procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex litigation matters including compensation claims, land acquisition disputes, arbitration cases, constitutional issues, contractual disagreements, and criminal prosecutions.
  • Represent the company in matters before various courts, including writ courts, district courts, debt recovery tribunals, claim tribunals, and consumer courts.
  • Draft, review, and finalize legal documents such as special leave petitions, writ applications, civil suits, criminal complaints, claim petitions, counter affidavits, replies, and rejoinders.
  • Brief senior counsel on matters, coordinate daily updates on pending cases, and prepare monitoring reports for legal performance indicators.
  • Develop and implement litigation strategies to align with business objectives, mitigate risks, and ensure cost-effective resolutions.
  • Provide expert legal advice on positions backed by recent court decisions and maintain knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Monitor company compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, advising management on legal rights, risks, and liabilities.
