About This Role

Openventure is a dynamic organization operating across various business verticals. The company seeks detail-oriented and proactive professionals to join its finance team in Chennai, India.

This position entails maintaining accurate financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations by adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field from a reputable institution, along with at least 2 years of professional accounting experience.

A strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards, as well as proficiency with accounting software such as Zoho Books, is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accurate financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations.
  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
  • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and filing deadlines.
  • Assisting with audits and coordinating with external auditors.
  • Supporting internal controls and improving accounting processes.

The selected candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support informed decision-making.
