Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled FP&A Business Partner to join our team at DSM. In this role, you will work closely with the Global FP&A team and report to the FP&A manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and adhere to timelines for loading financial reports at the DSM level.
  • Prepare and manage complete reports within Profit & Loss Statements, Board reports, and management reports, including Variance reports of Budget vs Forecasts vs Actuals.
  • Analyze financial data and use financial models for forecasting, breaking down cost and revenue generated by each Business unit within the company.
  • Track revenue and gross margin by business unit and expenses by cost center.
  • Prepare reports on financial performance tailored to the needs of leadership and evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Establish policies and procedures that guide cost analyses and work closely with the leadership team to formulate short- to long-term financial and strategic plans.
  • Evaluate previous budgets and collaborate with business unit leaders to build their annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Produce models to project long-term growth, accounting for factors that will impact performance.
  • Manage and own the Deviation analysis tools called Devana from loading reports to ensuring data accuracy at Product level within Business units.
  • Manage the entire UPI process via Impulse as a process owner.
  • Provide detailed analysis and commentary on the performance of a product or department.
  • Communicate results and recommendations to senior management that will lead to revenue generation, cost reduction, and more efficient operations.
  • Support for Scenario planning process to assess the Company financial performance in consideration of various Macro situations, Internal Strategies.
  • Support building CoE in FP&A process across DSM in understanding, utilizing, and rebuilding various financial tools landscape within DSM.
  • Analyze financial and operational results to better understand the company's overall financial health.
  • Drive to deliver best performance in improving KPIs – Organic Growth, EBITDA, GFCF etc.,

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate an exceptional work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work with less supervision and guidance.
  • High level of conceptual and analytical skills, understand key business drivers, and provide insightful input to stakeholders.
  • Excellent Presentation skills, able to express ideas with ease and flair on paper and face-to-face in English.
  • Hands-on experience in Power BI or other tools and proficient in Microsoft 365 tools – Excel, PowerPoint, ThinkCell, Power BI etc.
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, CA Inter/Master's degree in Business Administration and/or Controlling (preferably RC) and/or comparable education.
  • Min 8-10 years of relevant experience in FP&A and Commercials (Mgt reporting).
