Senior Oracle Exadata Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Exadata Database Administrator to join our team. This is a hands-on position requiring solid technical skills, cloud migration experience, and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and optimizing Oracle Exadata systems, including compute nodes, storage cells, and InfiniBand networks
  • Provisioning, patching, backing up, and recovering Oracle databases on OCI
  • Leading and supporting end-to-end cloud migration initiatives from on-premises to OCI
  • Designing and implementing high availability and disaster recovery solutions using RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate
  • Monitoring and tuning performance using AWR, ASH, OEM, and SQL tuning tools
  • Automating database operations using scripting languages such as Shell, Python, and Ansible
  • Collaborating with cloud architects and application teams to support hybrid and cloud-native deployments
  • Ensuring database security, compliance, and audit readiness across Exadata and OCI environments
  • Participating in capacity planning, cloud migration strategies, and architecture reviews
  • Providing on-call support and participating in scheduled maintenance windows
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Oracle Exadata Database Administrator
  • Strong technical skills in Oracle Exadata, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and related technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience with cloud migration and deployment
  • Knowledge of data security, compliance, and audit requirements
