About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, deploying and maintaining highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure to support our applications and services.

Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and operations, to architect and implement secure, efficient, and cost-effective solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, deploying, and maintaining GCP infrastructure to ensure high availability and scalability.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to architect and implement secure, efficient, and cost-effective solutions on GCP.
  • Developing and enforcing best practices for infrastructure as code, configuration management, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting GCP infrastructure performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, and optimizing resource utilization.
  • Implementing security measures and best practices to protect data and infrastructure, including identity and access management, network security, and data encryption.
  • Automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
  • Collaborating with development teams to optimize application performance and ensure seamless integration with GCP services.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with ForgeRock/Ping IAM products (AM, IDM, IG, DS).
  • Deep understanding of IAM architecture, integration methods, REST APIs, and directory services.
  • Experience in Java development, Spring Boot, scripting and secure coding standards.
  • Proven experience deploying, managing, and scaling applications in Kubernetes environments, particularly Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
  • Exposure to DevOps, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Good understanding of Authentication, Authorization, MFA, SSO, Federation, OAuth, OIDC, Provisioning, Reconciliation, Proxy and Directory Services concepts.
  • Should have knowledge of AD, LDAP, Database integration.
  • Java development experience for customizations and enhancements of IAM systems, including writing secure, maintainable code to support authentication and authorization workflows.
  • Knowledge of IAM solutions in Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and how IAM integrates within those platforms.
  • Experience with API security and integration using JSON, REST, and web services.
