Cloud Engineer Role Overview

The organization is seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to lead a team of engineers in building and supporting build and deployment efforts.

This includes debugging issues and supporting engineering deliveries, with a focus on automation tasks and leading DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Jenkins, Groovy, and GCP.
  • Expert-level Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts expertise for managing API workload builds, integrations, and deployments.
  • Very good understanding of Google Cloud services such as GKE, MIGs, CloudSQL, MemoryStore, including integration patterns with GKE workloads.
  • Very good understanding of networking (Cloud and on-premise) for E2E workload build and deployments.
  • Hands-on experience in automation of build, deployments, code scanning tools such as Sonar, Checkmarx, container scan, automation of tooling integration using web services via pipelines.
  • Good understanding of monitoring tools such as Datadog, AppDynamics, Grafana for tooling integrations.
  • Good-to-have understanding of Banking domain IT controls and processes.
  • Terraform tooling for infrastructure build.
  • GCP/AWS, Kubernetes Cloud Certification.
  • Hands-on skills for building Jenkins scripted pipelines using Groovy language.
  • Expert-level Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts expertise.
  • Very good understanding of Google Cloud services.
  • Good understanding of monitoring tools.
  • Understanding of Banking domain IT controls and processes.
