Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. You will be responsible for creating high-quality, efficient code that meets the requirements of our organization. Your work will involve collaborating with Product/Design during the design phase, authoring a technical approach to building features, and delivering work with your team. You will also contribute to a wide range of high-impact projects across the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure console. Daily tasks include microservices and frontend development, testing, CI/CD, participating in scrum activities, and collaboration with Support, Product Management, and other Service Teams.
  • Your daily activities will involve working on various projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively, and meeting deadlines. You will be expected to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our software development processes. You will also be involved in identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity. In addition, you will participate in code reviews, ensuring that the code is maintainable, readable, and follows industry standards. Overall, your primary focus will be on developing and delivering high-quality software solutions that meet our organization's needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack software development.
  • Expertise in multiple languages, including Java, Node.js, C++, Python.
  • Experience with microservices frameworks such as Spring, Micronaut.
  • Knowledge of building interfaces, including JSON REST APIs, GraphQL.
  • Skills in front-end scripting, including JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, KnockoutJS.
  • Proficiency in web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
  • Experience with container-based deployment like Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Additional skill in one or more of Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis.
  • Experience with test frameworks like Postman/Newman, JUnit, Enzym, Jest, Karma, Mocha, Chai, Puppeteer.
  • Experience with distributed source control, including Git.
  • Experience with build tools such as Gradle, Maven, Webpack, Npm, Yarn.
  • Experience with continuous deployment tools like Teamcity, Jenkins.
  • Working experience within a Linux-based environment.
  • Familiarity with log analysis tools and debugging tools.
