Network Engineer II Job Description

The Network Engineer II is a critical role responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and availability of network systems.

This individual will be working with routing, switching, and wireless technologies to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor network performance and identify issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software and hardware updates
  • Ensure network security by implementing appropriate measures
Incident Management:
  • Respond to network-related incidents and provide timely resolutions
  • Document incidents and resolutions in the incident management system
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support when necessary
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Four years of college resulting in a bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and security
  • Experience with incident management and SOP development
