Academic Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Professor in Computer Applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, conducting research, and contributing to the development of the department.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Computer Science or a related field, with a Master's degree (MCA/M.Sc. Computer Science or equivalent) and a Ph.D. in Computer Science/Applications (preferred).

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting undergraduate and postgraduate classes in Computer Applications and related subjects.
  • Developing lesson plans, teaching materials, and e-learning resources to enhance student learning.
  • Guiding students in projects, internships, and research work.
  • Engaging in academic research and publishing in reputed journals/conferences.
  • Applying for funded research projects and contributing to the department's academic growth.
  • Participating in curriculum design and updates as per AICTE/UGC/University norms and emerging industry trends.
  • Integrating innovative teaching methodologies like AI tools, AR/VR, and blended learning approaches.
  • Providing academic and career guidance to students.
  • Assessing student performance through assignments, tests, and viva-voce as per university guidelines.
  • Supporting departmental activities like seminars, workshops, placement drives, and faculty development programs.
  • Collaborating with industry partners for guest lectures, internships, and placements.
  • Maintaining academic records, attendance, and compliance with institutional policies.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master's Degree (MCA/M.Sc. Computer Science or equivalent) with minimum 55% marks.
  • Ph.D. in Computer Science / Applications (preferred or as per UGC norms).
  • Programming Languages: C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
  • Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, etc.
  • Databases: MySQL, Oracle, etc.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML, Cloud Computing, and Data Science will be an added advantage.
