Financial Data Expert

As a Financial Data Expert, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic decisions with precision and shaping the future of our business. Your analytical prowess will uncover valuable insights from financial data, enabling us to make informed choices.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in financial data analysis, demonstrating a strong ability to analyze complex financial data, prepare detailed reports, and provide actionable insights. A high level of analytical skills is essential, along with an excellent understanding of financial data analysis.

You will be responsible for analyzing financial data on a monthly basis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. This includes preparing detailed reports that provide insights into financial performance and support strategic decision-making.

Maintaining and managing pricing libraries is another key aspect of this role. You will update these libraries to ensure accurate and competitive pricing strategies, involving market trend analysis, competitor pricing, and internal cost structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monthly Data Analytics and Reporting: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintaining and Managing Pricing Libraries: Update pricing libraries to ensure accurate and competitive pricing strategies.
  • Assist with On-Request Profitability Analysis: Conduct profitability analysis for newly proposed clients, providing detailed assessments of potential financial outcomes.
  • Ad-Hoc Monthly Reconciliation Reports: Prepare ad-hoc reconciliation reports to ensure financial data accuracy and integrity.
  • Monthly Subs Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly subsidiary reports, ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in financial data analysis.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge and application skills in MS Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data visualization tools.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for detail to proof-read and enhance written content, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all financial reports and documents.
  • Communication: Superb communication skills to present complex information clearly to stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
