Cloud Architect Role Overview

As a seasoned cloud architect, you will be responsible for leading customer conversations, translating business needs into scalable cloud solutions, and architecting robust systems that drive business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to understand their business requirements, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable cloud solutions, focusing on customer outcomes.
  • Act as a strategic consultant, articulating solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Mentor, inspire, and lead technical teams, establishing best practices, fostering collaboration, and supporting professional growth.
  • Drive continuous improvement through proactive identification of technology trends, best practices, and process optimizations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture (AWS/GCP).
  • Expertise in migrations, modernizations, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation), containers (Kubernetes/Docker), and DevOps, security, and observability.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in translating customer business needs into architectural decisions and solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
