Financial Insights Analyst

The Financial Insights Analyst plays a critical role in driving business growth and strategic decision-making by delivering actionable financial insights. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, this analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate financial models, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing data-driven recommendations.

This Analyst will work closely with internal teams to ensure that financial forecasts are up-to-date, cost actions are quantified accurately, and financial data integrity is maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models, including revenue projections, cost profiles, and margin analysis.
  • Perform variance analysis of actual results against forecast and budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop executive-level reporting packages, including presentations and dashboards.
  • Perform advanced financial modeling and analyses to support business challenges and guide conversations with financial reasoning.
  • Drive change with stakeholders through data-driven decision-making and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Manage regular financial cadences around revenue submissions, price increase schedules, and cost action timeliness.
Requirements
  • Minimum Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or business analytics.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to develop relationships with stakeholders and establish yourself as a trusted finance partner.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting principles. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and intermediate in PowerPoint. Preferred experience in ERP (e.g., Oracle), Hyperion, CRM (e.g. SalesForce), and BI technologies is a plus.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Communication: Demonstrates strong communication skills to effectively present financial insights.
