Electrical Designer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled electrical designer to join our dynamic team. As an electrical designer at our organization, you will play a pivotal role in designing prestige projects and will coordinate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize the project design and resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design various types of facilities including commercial, institutional, industrial, residential, office buildings, and similar facilities, in addition to infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare reliable electrical designs and tender/construction drawings and documents/specifications for the following systems:
    • MV/LV power supply along with single line diagrams.
    • LV distribution network.
    • Earthing systems and lightning protection.
    • Lighting and small power distribution.
    • Emergency power supply and associated distribution network.

Additionally, you should collaborate with project teams to develop parametric models and computational workflows using scripting languages such as Grasshopper/Rhino, Dynamo/Revit, Python, or similar tools to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and facilitate design iteration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Proven experience as an electrical designer (5-15 years).
  • Strong understanding of design principles, construction techniques, and building systems.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Creative thinking and a passion for pushing the boundaries of design through computational innovation.
  • Knowledge about scripting languages such as Grasshopper/Rhino, Dynamo/Revit, Python, or similar tools to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and facilitate design iteration.
  • Proven experience in computational design, parametric modeling, and scripting languages is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of design software like AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, ETAP, etc.
