Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Lead Engineer to lead the design, development and delivery of high-quality WordPress solutions. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and other headless CMS platforms is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end WordPress development projects, ensuring scalable and secure solutions.
  • Architect custom themes, plugins and integrations based on business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless CMS experiences.
  • Evaluate modern CMS solutions, including headless CMS platforms, based on project requirements.
  • Mentor junior developers, promoting best practices in coding and performance optimization.
  • Ensure timely delivery, manage code reviews and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong expertise in WordPress architecture, plugin development and custom theme creation.
  • Hands-on experience with PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, REST/GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other enterprise CMS platforms.
  • Exposure to Headless CMS platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud hosting and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and deliver complex CMS projects.
  • Nice to Have:
  • Experience migrating between multiple CMS platforms.
  • Knowledge of performance testing, SEO optimization and accessibility standards.

  • Strong communication and client interaction skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with flexibility to work on any CMS platform.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a technical team.
