Job Title: SAP Basis Consultant

A seasoned professional is sought after to assume responsibility for the maintenance and management of SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in ensuring high system performance, security, and reliability.

The role requires excellent technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and effective communication. Key responsibilities include monitoring and optimizing SAP systems, providing technical support for infrastructure, job scheduling, transport management, and printer configuration.

Furthermore, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple SAP environments, handling SAP ABAP and JAVA stack systems, administering additional applications such as BOBJ, BODS, Cloud Connector, Content Server, and OpenText.

Additional tasks include configuring and managing Web Dispatcher for load balancing and routing, performing SSL and SSO configurations, including certificate exchange, renewal, and trust setup.

The individual will also manage the Correction and Transport System (CTS) to maintain system integrity and smooth promotions.

It is expected that the chosen candidate will implement SAP performance tuning strategies and monitor system health (work processes, logs, dumps, locks, traces, disk space).

Required skills include hands-on expertise with ABAP and JAVA stack systems, proficiency in SAP system monitoring and performance tuning.

Additionally, the candidate should possess strong knowledge of SSL/SSO configuration and certificate management.

Experience with application upgrades, client copies, and system refreshes is also essential. Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective client interactions and coordination.
