Senior Website Developer

A skilled WordPress developer is needed to build and maintain scalable and secure websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in WordPress theme integration, plugin development, and customisation.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
- Work closely with design and product teams to translate requirements into functional WordPress sites.
- Optimise WordPress applications for performance, speed, and responsiveness.
- Manage website deployments, updates, and testing.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in WordPress and PHP, including custom theme and plugin development.
- Proven experience building responsive and user-friendly websites from scratch using WordPress.
- Excellent English communication skills—both verbal and written.
- A solid understanding of WordPress architecture, database structure, and best coding practices.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations within WordPress.
- Familiarity with MySQL databases.
- Strong knowledge of website optimisation techniques (page speed, SEO best practices).
