We are seeking a highly skilled Underwriting Manager to join our team.

Job Description

The primary function of this role is to oversee the underwriting process, ensuring that all policies are accurately assessed and approved in a timely manner.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • A medical degree or equivalent qualification is essential for this position, along with a minimum of 4 years' experience in clinical underwriting within the insurance industry.
  • Staying up-to-date with current clinical treatment protocols is crucial for success in this role.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary to assess complex medical cases and make informed decisions.
  • Furthermore, strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team is also essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy are vital in this role, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications is also expected.
