Job Overview

The Strategic Financial Business Leader is a key role that drives financial excellence and contributes to the success of our organization.

This position provides critical financial expertise to support the implementation of business strategies and initiatives, ensuring maximum return on investment while maintaining a strong focus on financial performance.

A primary aspect of this role is developing and executing a comprehensive business plan aligned with our organization's overall strategy, focusing on financial and accounting activities, and delivering exceptional financial results.

Candidate Profile

We seek a highly skilled individual with a 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major; 2 years experience in finance and accounting or related professional area OR Master's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major; no work experience required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyzing financial data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Compiling information, analyzing, and monitoring actual sales against projected sales.
  • Developing means to improve profit, including estimating cost and benefit, exploring new business opportunities.
  • Protecting and strengthening our competitive advantage by advocating sound business and financial decision making.
  • Implementing a system of appropriate controls to manage business risks.

Leadership

As a leader, you will utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others. You will advocate sound financial/business decision making, demonstrate honesty/integrity, and lead by example.

Finance and Accounting Goals

You will support business strategy from a finance and accounting perspective, submit reports in a timely manner, and ensure profits and losses are documented accurately.

Managing Projects and Policies

You will monitor all taxes, generate accurate and timely results, and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Stakeholder Management

You will understand and meet the needs of key stakeholders, anticipate and address owner needs, and involve ownership in key decisions.

Hiring and Development

You will ensure team members are cross-trained, property policies are administered fairly and consistently, and new hires participate in the departments orientation program.
