Senior Data Architect Role Overview

As a Senior Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing our global data ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related fields.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Strategy: Collaborate with data architecture teams to define data architecture blueprints for products, including data flow diagrams, system integrations, and storage solutions.
  • Cloud Data Platform Development: Lead the development of cloud-based data platforms on AWS, implementing data pipelines and warehouses using AWS services such as AWS Glue for ETL, AWS Lambda for serverless processing, Amazon Redshift for data warehousing, and S3 for data storage.
  • Big Data & Legacy Integration: Oversee the ingestion of large-scale datasets from various sources, optimizing processing of big data using Spark and integrating legacy Hadoop-based data into the AWS environment.
  • Data Modeling: Develop and maintain data models (conceptual, logical, physical) for databases and data lakes, designing relational schemas and dimensional models that cater to both operational applications and analytical workloads.
  • Advanced Analytics Enablement: Work closely with Data Science and Analytics teams to enable AI and advanced analytics, providing well-structured data sets and creating pipelines that feed machine learning models.

Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong technical expertise in data architecture, data engineering, and cloud-native technologies; Excellent collaboration and leadership skills; Experience with AWS services and big data platforms.
