Job Title: Senior R&D Engineer

We are currently seeking a seasoned Product Development Engineer with over 10 years of experience in product innovation, engineering research, and design leadership.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the conceptualization, development, and validation of cutting-edge products and technologies.
  • Translate market and customer requirements into robust product specifications that meet industry standards.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, design reviews, risk assessments, and failure mode effect analysis (FMEA) to ensure designs meet compliance and scalability requirements.
  • Apply computer-aided design (CAD)/computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools to develop and optimize product designs, streamlining production processes and improving efficiency.
  • Integrate automation, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems where applicable for advanced product solutions.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams to ensure designs meet compliance, cost, and scalability requirements.
  • Oversee prototype development, testing, and performance evaluations to guarantee high-quality products.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, value analysis/ value engineering (VAVE), and sustainability in product design to enhance our offerings.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across research and development projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, or related Engineering discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressive R&D experience in product design and development (medical device, pharma, or industrial equipment preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in CAD/CAE tools and software applications.
  • Expertise in product lifecycle management, design controls, and regulatory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with automation, PLC, SCADA, or mechatronic systems is an advantage.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering innovative products to market.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
