Role Overview

Buyside equity research plays a vital role in investment decision-making. As an Equity Research Analyst, you will be instrumental in driving business growth by providing actionable investment ideas to buy-side portfolios.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain coverage of listed companies within assigned sectors by tracking sector trends, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic drivers.
  • Develop and update detailed financial models and valuation frameworks to support informed investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with the CIO and portfolio managers on strategy and stock selection to optimize returns.
  • Prepare research reports and present insights to internal stakeholders and clients through effective communication.
  • Participate in earnings calls, analyst meetings, and management interactions to stay up-to-date on market developments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of equity research experience (buy-side preferred; sell-side considered).
  • Sector expertise or flexibility depending on the mandate.
  • Strong modeling, analytical, and report-writing skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
