Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direction and guidance on policy strategies that align with business goals.
  • Represent our interests with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and stakeholders at local, state, and national levels.
  • Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments to identify emerging opportunities and challenges.
  • Provide strategic, data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership on key policy matters.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address critical legislative, regulatory, and public policy proposals.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in policy-related matters, offering tactical and strategic advice.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across regulatory, industry, and business networks.
  • Engage with industry associations and forums to advocate for our priorities and contribute to shaping relevant policy frameworks.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in public policy and regulatory affairs, with a strong focus on the Indian market.
  • A strong network of stakeholders, including senior-level interactions.
  • An extensive understanding of the policy climate in India, combined with sound business judgment and common sense.
  • Ability to anticipate emerging issues and communicate their impact on the company.
  • Identify and understand key technical aspects pertaining to corporate operations in legislative and regulatory proposals.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Sound business judgment and a practical approach to policy development and regulatory compliance.
