As a seasoned security expert, you will play a pivotal role in championing security throughout the entire product development lifecycle.

You will collaborate with engineering, product management, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate security risks, ensuring our products are built with security and compliance in mind.

Your responsibilities will include leading and participating in security assessments, threat modeling, and penetration testing activities for new and existing products.

You will define and implement a comprehensive product security strategy, aligning it with business objectives and industry best practices.

Additionally, you will develop and maintain secure coding practices and security engineering standards for the development team.

Automating repetitive processes and writing internal tools will be key to boosting productivity and visibility.

Fostering a culture of security awareness within product teams and educating them on security best practices will also be part of your remit.

Collaboration with product managers to integrate security considerations into the product development lifecycle will be crucial.

Staying up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities and proactively addressing them will be essential.

Managing and prioritizing product security vulnerabilities, working with engineering teams to implement effective remediation plans, will also be required.

Developing and maintaining security documentation, including threat models, security requirements, and incident response plans, will be important.

Tracking and reporting on product security metrics and communicating the security posture of products to stakeholders will be necessary.

Participating in security incident response activities and providing guidance on mitigation strategies may also be involved.
