Mainframe Tester Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Tester to fill this critical role.

The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in QA manual and automation, as well as prior experience on Mainframe testing including JCL, COBOL, SQL.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manual Testing: Create detailed test plans and execute manual tests to ensure the highest quality of mainframe applications.
  • Automation Tools: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Api Test Automation using Rest Assured or Karate, Selenium, Cucumber using Java.
  • Testing Lifecycle: Understand and apply various testing approaches and techniques to ensure comprehensive testing of mainframe systems.
  • Communication Skills: Collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders to communicate test results and progress.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Mainframe Testing.
  • Strong experience in QA manual and automation.
  • Prior experience on Mainframe testing including JCL, COBOL, SQL.
  • Excellent knowledge of testing lifecycle and core testing process/techniques using different test approaches.
  • Awareness of CI/CD and DevOps - Jenkins.
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
  • Ability to perform testing independently.
  • Knowledge of JIRA.
