HPLC Analyst Job Description

As an HPLC Analyst, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that require expertise in the operation and calibration of high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) equipment.

The role involves sound knowledge of analytical method development and validation, as well as a good understanding of pharmaceutical guidelines. You will also be expected to handle sample preparation according to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards and have a solid grasp of laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs).

About the Role

This position requires a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual who can work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to communicate complex technical information effectively.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Calibrate and operate HPLC equipment with empower software.
  • Develop and validate analytical methods for OVI, purity, and assay by HPLC according to pharma guidelines.
  • Operate other laboratory equipment such as balances, pH meters, and prepare samples for analysis.
  • Record and maintain accurate data and documentation.
  • Participate in the compilation of raw data, chromatograms, and graphic data.
