Job Description

Our organization is a leading provider of device programming systems to the semiconductor and electronics industries. The Device Support Team plays a pivotal role in ensuring we deliver fast, high-quality support for Non-Volatile memory devices.

We are expanding our India-based Device Support Engineering team and are seeking passionate individuals who share our vision.

The primary responsibility of the Device Support Engineer is to develop programming algorithms that enable support for devices with Non-Volatile memories.

  • Write algorithms to support Non-Volatile memory devices.
  • Update existing algorithms with new specification changes from semiconductor manufacturers.
  • Assess feasibility of support requests, identifying necessary electrical and software requirements.
  • Design and release Socket Module adapter boards.
  • Evaluate incoming requests for device support.
  • Apply standard engineering techniques and leverage AI in completing device support engineering tasks.
  • Collaborate with QA and the software team on unique testing requirements.
  • Work with Technical Support on issues or questions pertaining to Device Support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems found by QA or customers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with semiconductor manufacturer engineers and contacts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
  • Proficiency in C/C++/Assembly languages, Python.
  • Leverage AI for research, coding, and troubleshooting problems.
  • Familiarity with EPROM, Flash, Microcontrollers, and PLDs.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols SPI, I2C, UART, SWD, JTAG.
  • Familiarity with signal integrity, ground bounce, power supply noise, etc.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with efficient issue resolution.
  • Ability to multitask and focus on details.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
