About the Role

This is a mechanical engineering position that involves designing and implementing solar power project structures. The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical design, site execution, and a strong understanding of MMS, trackers, and steel structures used in solar projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret mechanical design drawings issued by the head office.">
  • Prepare/modify site-specific mechanical drawings when required.">
  • Conduct wind load and structural stability checks for site-specific conditions.">
  • Verify MMS foundation positions, tilt angles, and row spacing as per design.">
  • Support fabrication, welding, and erection quality checks against approved standards.">
  • Provide design clarifications/modifications at site and coordinate with the head office for approvals.">
  • Issue red-marked drawings/as-built drawings after execution.">
  • Coordinate with civil and electrical teams to resolve interdisciplinary design issues.">
  • Support site teams in resolving mechanical erection bottlenecks.">
  • Maintain proper documentation of design revisions, approvals, and as-built records.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5-8 years of experience in mechanical design and site execution. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design/drafting tools is essential. Strong knowledge of MMS, trackers, and steel structures used in solar projects is also required.
