Healthcare EDI Tester

We are seeking a skilled EDI Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for validating healthcare EDI transactions such as 834, 837, 847, and 27X series.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Facets, SQL, and US healthcare domain knowledge, including claims, enrollment, and benefits.

  • Perform functional and regression testing of EDI transactions (834, 837P/I/D, 847, 27X).
  • Validate inbound and outbound EDI files using tools like AE2, EDIFACTS, and Facets.
  • Analyze requirement documents and create test scenarios, test cases, and mock data.
  • Execute batch jobs and validate data flow across systems.
  • Log defects in ALM/JIRA and coordinate with development teams for resolution.
  • Maintain traceability matrices and test evidence repositories.
  • Collaborate with offshore teams and clients for delivery and defect triage.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 4-6 years of hands-on testing experience in the QEA Testing and preferably from healthcare domain.
  • Deep understanding of US healthcare concepts (claims, enrollment, providers, billing).
  • EDI Transactions (834, 837)
  • Experience with Facets claims processing and BlueCards.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with MS SQL Server and Azure AD.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project delivery.
