Job Title: Material Handling Systems Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Material Handling Systems Designer. As a key member of our design engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing material handling systems for steel plants and power plants.

Your expertise should include knowledge of major material handling equipment such as belt conveyors, silos, hoppers, vibrating feeders, screens, dust extraction systems, trippers, belt feeders, belt weighers, magnetic separators, and bucket elevators.

  • Design Requirements">
    • You will have complete knowledge of various types of conveyor belts, including their selection criteria and technical specifications.">
    • Technical knowledge of reclaimers, stackers, barge loaders, barge unloaders, truck loading/unloading stations, crushers, pneumatic conveying systems, diverters, slide gate valves, lifting devices (hoist and EOT cranes), and other related equipment.">
    • Software skills in conveyor belt design and 3D modeling are essential.">

  • Process Development">
    • You will be responsible for preparing process flow diagrams, schemes, and layouts for material handling systems.">
    • Creating profile drawings, calculations, and general arrangement drawings for belt conveying systems.">
    • Preparing technical specifications for material handling equipment like reclaimers, stackers, screens, crushers, feeders, etc.">
    • Preparing BOQs or BOMs for conveying systems.">
    ">
  • Procurement Engineering">
    • You will be involved in procurement engineering of material handling equipment, including datasheets, technical specifications, technical bid analysis/offer evaluation, technical recommendations, and vendor document reviews.">
    • Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (IS/CEMA/ISO) is required.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering.">
  • 5-15 years of experience in design engineering.">
  • Strong software skills in Auto-Cad and MS-Office.">
