Teach and Mentor in a Higher Education Setting

As a Faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate students, guiding research projects, and contributing to the academic development of our institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions in B.Sc program courses as per curriculum guidelines.
  • Prepare lesson plans, study materials, and evaluation methods to facilitate student learning.
  • Supervise practicals, experiments, and laboratory work to ensure student safety and understanding.
  • Guide students in academic projects, dissertations, and research activities to foster their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Assess student performance through tests, assignments, and examinations to evaluate their knowledge and progress.
  • Participate in curriculum planning, academic improvements, and departmental activities to enhance the overall quality of education.
  • Mentor and counsel students for academic and career growth, providing guidance on course selection and professional development.
  • Engage in research, publications, and faculty development initiatives to stay updated with best practices and advancements in the field.
  • maintain a conducive learning environment by ensuring discipline and respect among students, faculty, and staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • A Master's Degree in the relevant subject with a minimum 55% marks (mandatory).
  • A NET/Ph.D. in the concerned discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
  • 2-15 years of teaching/research experience in higher education is desired.
  • Strong subject knowledge and practical expertise in the relevant discipline is essential.
  • Effective communication and mentoring skills are necessary for successful collaboration with students and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with laboratory management and modern teaching practices is advantageous.
