Job Title: Billing SpecialistAbout the Role:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and issuing invoices to customers, meeting delivery timelines, and ensuring accurate and timely submissions.Main Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Preparation: Prepare and issue invoices to customers in accordance with established procedures.
  • Timely Delivery: Meet invoice delivery timelines to ensure seamless payment processing.
  • Data Entry: Enter invoices into customer invoicing websites and submit by electronic data interchange.
  • Key Areas of Focus: Understand key areas of invoicing specific to each customer and check each field on the invoices before submission.
  • Sales Order Processing: Ensure all supporting documents and backups are attached to invoices, and update invoice submission status in Navision.
  • Logs and Files: Maintain invoice submission logs and customer invoicing process files as reference.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with payroll and invoicing teams to accelerate invoice submission, send out statements of accounts to customers, reconcile self-billed cases with customer-approved timesheets, and resolve billing/payment mismatches.
  • Continuous Improvement: Maintain SOPs for complete invoicing processes, updating them timely, and support the improvement of platforms for invoicing.
  • AR Management: Assist credit control in invoicing and collection of payments, handling invoice rejections and credit/rebills.
