Urdu Language Specialist Position

As a highly skilled expert in the Urdu language, you will contribute to the development of AI models by ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine your expertise in Urdu with creativity, critical thinking, and editorial skills while working collaboratively with global AI research teams.

We seek a proficient linguist who can develop accurate and engaging written responses in Urdu for various prompts, evaluate and review content for accuracy and cultural alignment, provide detailed linguistic assessments, and design creative content to test and challenge AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality written responses in Urdu that are contextually appropriate and engaging.
  • Evaluate and review human- and AI-generated content for accuracy, tone, clarity, safety, and cultural alignment.
  • Conduct peer reviews of linguistic contributions to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Create innovative content such as prompts, role-play scenarios, games, and thought experiments to test and challenge AI capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Native or near-native proficiency in Urdu with excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Strong English-language communication skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Urdu writing, editing, or content creation with command over tone, style, and genre.
  • In-depth knowledge of Urdu culture, idioms, humor, and societal nuances.
  • Ability to analyze and refine text for clarity, engagement, and accuracy.
