Job Title: High-Speed Electrical Validation Specialist

Description:

We are seeking an experienced High-Speed Electrical Validation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for measuring electrical performance of high-speed interfaces, performing statistical data analysis, and writing scripts to control test & measurement equipment.

About the Role:

  • Metrication: Measure electrical performance of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe Gen5/6, LPDDR4/5, DDR4/5, Ethernet (10G, 25G)
  • Data Analysis: Perform statistical data analysis to validate performance against specifications
  • Scripting: Write scripts to control test & measurement equipment, thermal controllers, and silicon configurations
  • Troubleshooting: Debug and triage validation issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

  • Hands-on Experience: Hands-on experience with HSIO interface electrical measurements
  • Teamwork: Strong teamwork and independent contribution capabilities
  • Measurement Tools: Proficiency with BERTs, VNAs, Oscilloscopes
  • Fundamentals: Solid understanding of Signal Integrity fundamentals
  • Debugging: Excellent silicon and platform debug skills
  • Programming: Experience in hardware control software development
  • Scripting Skills: Basic knowledge of LabVIEW or Python scripting

Preferred Expertise:

  • System Design: High-speed system design and electrical compliance for protocols
  • S-parameters: Understanding of S-parameters and their role in validation
  • Measurement Equipment: Experience with high-speed oscilloscopes and analyzers
  • Protocol Knowledge: Willingness to learn new electrical protocols
  • Compliance: Compliance expertise in at least two protocols: DDR5, LPDDR5x, eDP, HDMI, USB3/4, PCIe
