Job Description:

A skilled Network Engineer is required to maintain secure, high-performance network infrastructure in a fast-paced environment. This position involves troubleshooting and configuring network systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with a strong background in network security and performance optimization. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of network protocols, devices, and technologies.

This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong analytical abilities, and effective communication and collaboration skills. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional IT teams to support overall infrastructure and ensure seamless operations.

The Network Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network systems to ensure optimal performance and high availability. They will also configure and manage network devices, implement and maintain network security policies, and plan and execute network upgrades, firmware updates, and patches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network systems for optimal performance and high availability.
  • Configure and manage network devices including Cisco routers, switches, F5 load balancers, and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Implement and maintain network security policies to safeguard against unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and threats.
  • Plan and execute network upgrades, firmware updates, and patches to ensure systems are secure, stable, and up to date.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent field of study.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with cloud networking solutions and SDN technologies such as Cisco ACI.
  • Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and implementing security policies.
  • Proficiency in managing F5 Load Balancers for high availability and traffic distribution.
  • Knowledge of network automation tools and scripting using Python.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Cisco ACI DCACI or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of Cisco routing and switching technologies.
  • Familiarity with tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or Wireshark for network monitoring and diagnostics.
