Job Description

The Senior Network Reliability Engineering (NRE) Security Operations (SecOps) role is responsible for designing and implementing network security strategies for all Marriott International networks. This includes property networks, datacenter/cloud networks, and corporate networks. As a subject matter expert, you will work closely with a matrix team of network architects and engineers to drive the adoption of NRE practices and operating models across all network product towers.

This role requires a strong understanding of zero-trust security tools, including Cisco ISE, Forescout, and Firewall Management solutions. You will be responsible for articulating and executing a vision to prevent unauthorized access to Marriott networks while meeting stringent compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Compute Engine.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain accurate records and submit timely reports to ensure delivery deadlines are met.
  2. Promote the documentation of project progress accurately.
  3. Provide input and assistance to other teams regarding projects.
Requirements
  • 6+ years' experience with network security tools related products.
  • Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting zero-trust security tools.
  • Strong understanding of foundational data networking and IP technologies.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and daily stand-up meetings.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering written documents detailing network solutions and diagrams.
